The 2020 NFL season doesn’t officially begin until September, but the Rams want to be fully prepared for what may happen to them as we’ve seen in almost every other major sport in the country.
The team sent out a letter to Rams season ticket holders to let them know how they are planning to handle the COVID-19 pandemic if it messes up the regular season schedule.
The refund policy reads as:
“If a game is canceled and cannot be rescheduled, or is played under conditions that prohibit fans from attending (for example, if a public authority restricts gatherings to no more than a small number of people), and you are a Rams Season Ticket Member, you will receive a pro-rata refund of your season ticket purchase price for any impacted games, or the option to credit that amount toward future playoff or regular season full season tickets for the 2021 season.”
“For example, if two games were not played during the 2020 season, you would receive a refund or credit for the face value of your tickets for the two games lost.”
It also touched on fans who may be getting hit financially because lost of jobs due to the definiton of employees being named as essential or non-essential.
“We understand that some of you may be impacted physically and financially by COVID-19. As a result, we are extending our season ticket payment deadline to June 1. In addition, if you choose to opt-in to the payment plan today, you can spread payments from May 1 through October 1, rather than having an April 1 payment.”

As of right now, the league still plans to hold their 2020 Draft on schedule, albeit, not in Las Vegas as it had planned.
Nothing has been stated about the season as they still have time to figure things out if COVID-19 gets even worse than it already has.
