The Big Baller Brand family seems to be falling apart at the seams.
Lonzo Ball has had a rough 2019 as he was traded by the Los Angeles Lakers to the New Orleans Pelicans, which happened shortly after Lonzo parted ways with Big Baller Brand co-founder Alan Foster amid an alleged embezzlement scandal.
During an episode of ball In the Family, there was an argument between Lonzo and LaVar over the direction of the Big Baller Brand.
“When I come up with a name and there’s somebody telling me to change it, that’s like telling me to change your name,” LaVar said. “That’s like people saying, ‘Hey, change Lonzo’s name to Alfonso on the fact that he been damaged goods for the last two years.’”
On the latest episode, Lonzo stated that he and his father have hardly been on speaking terms since their heated argument about Big Baller Brand.
“I don’t know. We’re still not really talking.”
“Our relationship is not how it’s been in the past. So, we’re not really talking too much right now. I really don’t know how he feels. But I know he wants just the best for me. He should be happy. I don’t know.”
