Might Logan Paul have been a hit in the NFL? Well, his high school football career seems to suggest he would have at least been decent.
Paul, one of the biggest YouTube influencers on the internet, has also made a name for himself in boxing while also securing a lucrative deal as a wrestler with WWE. Both he and his brother Jake have managed to make millions as a result of their online presence and transition to combat sports.
Logan has always been very athletic and was a talented wrestler both in high school and college, having ranked fifth in the OHSAA State Championships during his final year of high school in 2013. He would go on to join the wrestling team at Ohio University in Athens, qualifying for OHSAA Division I Individual Championships.
The 28-year-old also did very well in football, with a local paper ranking him an “All-Star” linebacker while he was a student at Westlake High School. Having excelled as a two-way player, Logan was named the Southwestern Conference MVP in his senior year, also maintaining a GPA of 4.7. He registered 92 tackles in his senior year with the Westlake Demons.
The YouTuber’s father once posted a video showcasing his exploits with the team which can be seen above.
Logan decided to pursue content creation after a series of injuries kept him away from the sport. But one can well imagine how things might have turned out had he continued playing football.
