A brewing locker-room feud is being blamed for the Eagles’ late-season meltdown,
The reigning NFC champions were 10-1 through the first 11 weeks of the campaign but, with one game remaining, they’re 11-5, having just embarrassingly lost to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 17.
According to Marcus Hayes of the Philadelphia Inquirer, there’s tension between head coach Nick Sirianni and some of the players on the roster that is “tearing the team apart.”
Hayes also notes that star wide receiver A.J. Brown is the main player involved given he’s one of the more demonstrative characters in the locker room.
“Any time you have bad body language from a leader like that, other guys see it, and it’s not good,” a veteran on the team was quoted as saying.
The wideout spurned the media after the defeat to Arizona on Sunday, marking the second time he’s done so in as many weeks.

“I’m not about to talk. It ain’t nothing to say,” he said.
He did note that his annoyance had nothing to do with reporters.
“It ain’t directed toward y’all,” he added.
Brown was seen remonstrating with quarterback teammate and close friend Jalen Hurts earlier in the season and went on an incredible run of form thereafter. Things have since come crashing down.
