Seeing a division rival continue to have success while your team is not even close to them has to be torture. Over the weekend, it seemed the Buffalo Bills were about to make a ton of people excited with the defeat of the Kansas City Chiefs, but their defense failed them spectacularly with just 13 seconds on the clock.
In the Denver area, the Lakewood police force took to social media and took a massive shot at the Buffalo Bills who were unable to stop Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs from advancing to the AFC Championship game.
“There will be snow (2-5”) tomorrow during the AM rush hour, so you know the routine: Make sure your tires have good tread, drive slowly & give the same amount of room to nearby cars that the #Bills gave to #TravisKelce with 7 seconds left to get to FG range. #CoWx #BillsvsChiefs”
Brutal roast.
The Buffalo Bills were 13 seconds away from returning to Highmark Stadium to host the AFC championship. Instead, they head to the offseason having to be tortured with the thought of what they could’ve done differently as they watch the Chiefs move on with a chance to advance to yet another Super Bowl.
