ESPN sideline reporter Lisa Salters is showing her toughness tonight in Mexico City.
During a live sideline report at the start of tonight’s Monday Night Football matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals, Salters was unexpectedly stuck in a massive downpour of rain. The veteran was not phased, however, as she pulled her hair back and delivered the report like a true pro.
That’s how you do it. Rain or shine, Lisa Salters knows how to deliver on the mic.
Needless to say, Twitter was impressed with her performance in the treacherous conditions. Some also couldn’t hep but wonder why ESPN didn’t give her an umbrella, which is a very fair question.

Tonight’s game between the Niners and Cards is being played at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City. The rain has been coming down awfully hard since kickoff, meaning both teams will need be able to run the ball while placing an extra emphasis on ball security.
You’d think that would favor the 49ers, but I wouldn’t count out this desperate Cardinals team. Both clubs remain in contention in the NFC West. San Francisco sits at second-place in the division at 5-4, while the Cards are right behind them with a 4-6 record.
