A postgame clip of Joe Burrow speaking to a Baltimore Ravens player about his injury on Thursday night suggests that the quarterback “felt a pop” when he fell on his right hand during the ‘Thursday Night Football’ affair.
Burrow has since been ruled out for the rest of the season as an MRI shows he tore a ligament in his wrist. This comes across as devastating news to Cincinnati Bengals fans, with the team now in real danger of missing the playoffs.
Burrow exited the game in the second quarter and was unable to return.
He did go back onto the field to shake hands with Ravens players when it was all done and was seen speaking to linebacker Patrick Queen, whom he appeared to tell that he “felt a pop.
There was some debate over what he actually said, but the results of Burrow’s MRI have already been disclosed and, unfortunately, his season is over.

There was some speculation over Burrow possibly being hurt before Thursday’s game. While he was not listed on the Bengals’ injury report, the QB was seen wearing a protective sleeve on his right hand when he arrived in Baltimore.
The NFL is understood to be investigating the team’s failure to report the injury.
