The Minnesota Vikings are 6-1 and making moves to be even better.

On Tuesday, the team acquired tight end T.J. Hockenson from the Detroit Lions in exchange for a 2023 2nd and a 2024 third-round pick.

The Vikings are 6-1 and are expected to be one of the top teams in the NFC this year, while the Lions hold the league’s worst record at 1-6.

This is one of those rare times when a trade happens within the same division. However, these teams are already familiar with trading with one another as they completed a deal during the draft as well.
