The Detroit Lions had nothing to play for on Sunday night after the Seattle Seahawks defeated the Los Angeles Rams earlier in the day. But don’t tell that to Dan Campbell’s club.
The Lions head coach made it clear that his team still had plenty to play for, as they had every intention of spoiling the Packers’ playoff hopes. And that’s exactly what they did, beating Aaron Rodgers and company, 20-16, at Lambeau Field.
Throughout the week, the Lions players made it clear that they felt as though they were being disrespected by Green Bay, who has bullied them around for a while now.
Even after beating the Packers earlier in the year, the Lions felt as though many of the comments afterwards from the Green Bay players were disrespectful.
So when Detroit pulled off the big win, the team’s TikTok account wasted little time digging up all those receipts and throwing them right back in the face of their division rivals.

While the Lions’ win wasn’t enough to send them to the postseason, it had to feel good for the team to end their season on a winning note.
They finished the season 9-8, giving them their first wining season since 2017, and likely earning them a few gift baskets from the people in Seattle.
