Prayers up for Saivion Smith.
The Detroit Lions defensive back suffered a brutal injury that had the ambulance coming out on the field to take him away. The injury occurred during the first quarter of the team’s game against the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.

It was an incredibly scary scene, as Smith was taken away in the ambulance after several minutes. Someone who appeared to be a member of his family (possibly his father) was also seen being assisted onto the field so that he could assist Saivion in the ambulance.
We’re praying for good news from this situation. This is something you never want to see on the field.
