You’d think Chicago Bears fans would know how to take a loss by now…Or maybe not.
Tensions were apparently pretty high in the stands at Soldier Field on Sunday, as the hometown Bears blew a 14-point fourth quarter lead against the division rival Detroit Lions, eventually losing the game by a score of 31-30.
Bears quarterback Justin Fields had a monster day, rushing for 147 yards and two touchdowns while adding another two scores through the air. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough, as the Lions fans in attendance were the ones who got the last laugh, much to the chagrin of a few Bears supporters.
During the final seconds of the game, one of those Lions fans at Soldier Field decided to take out his camera and capture some footage as he celebrated the victory with his friends immediately after the final play of the game.
Part of the celebrating included waving goodbye to the Bears fans in his section. Two fans seated behind him didn’t seem to appreciate the gesture, and after exchanging some words, one angry Bears fan can be seen pushing the Lions fan down a few flights of stairs while his selfie video is still rolling.
The dude taking the selfie, IG user n_petz, captioned the video, “Wild ass ending…Didn’t expect a salty ass bears fan to push me down 2 flights of stairs…Worst fanbase in the f*cking NFL.”

It was definitely a cowardly move from the Bears fan, but that’s why you’ve always got to be aware and keep your head on a swivel in enemy territory—especially if you’re going to celebrate a victory by rubbing it in like that.
