Le’Veon Bell is no longer a member of the New York Jets are they released him from the roster on Tuesday. He appears to be just fine with that as he soon took to Twitter and responded to the move:
Jets GM Joe Douglas announced Tuesday that they’ve released RB Le’Veon Bell after attempting to trade him in the beloe statement:
Bell departs New York having made $28 million for 18 games. He leaves behind $15 million in dead cap money this season and $4 million in dead cap in 2021.
In 2020, Bell has appeared in two games for the Jets and rushed 19 times for 74 yards while catching three passes for 39 yards and no touchdowns.
Bell finished with 789 rushing yards and three touchdowns in 15 games for the Jets last season.
