The Buffalo Bills are set to make a huge roster move this Monday.
According to Bleacher Report’s Jordan Schultz, the AFC outfit will sign running back Leonard Fournette, with the star RB informing the insider of his plans to join the team pending a medical.
The Bills scored a win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday to take their record to 5-3 and are now about to sign the back who helped them win a Super Bowl just a few years ago.
Fournette, also known as “Playoff Lenny,” had resigned with the Bucs on a three-year deal worth $21 million last March. He was released around a year later.
Reports from mid-October revealed that he would be working out with Buffalo after Damien Harris was placed on the injured reserve but nothing materialized back then.
It appears Fournette has finally secured a deal and, if all goes according to plan, could suit up for the Bills when they play the Denver Broncos in Week 9.
