Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has tipped an unlikely wide receiver to have a big 2023/24 NFL campaign.
The four-time NBA champion is backing New York Giants WR Parris Campbell to have a massive season following the team’s return to relevance last season as they made the playoffs for the first time since 2016.
Campbell, who was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in 2019, signed a one-year deal with NY in March and Bron’s given him a vote of confidence ahead of next season.
The two are thought to be close as LeBron’s shown him lots of love on social media in the past, with the wideout having also attended St. Vincent-St, Mary in Akron, Ohio.
King James was among those sounding off when he was drafted four years ago.

While there is a personal connection, LBJ could be onto something as a recent report from The Athletic suggests Campbell could have a big season for the Giants given what he’s shown in practice this offseason.
The wideout has had a lot of involvement in spring training and recorded the most catches among receivers. He also got reps at running back, which was what happened with Wan’Dale Robinson and Kadarius Toney last offseason. This could be an indication of the Giants’ intention to have the 25-year-old feature heavily in the offense.
