LeBron James saw a clip on Instagram that he just had to respond to after it showed Max Kellerman stating that Tom Brady was just about done in his career. This was something that he said back in 2016.
“Tom Brady’s just about done,” Kellerman said a “First Take” segment. “It could be his next game, it could be a year from now, but he is going to fall off a cliff. Tom Brady is going to be a bum in short order.”
Brady and the Patriots went on to not only win the Super Bowl that season, but would play in two more after that. Following his departure from the Patriots in 2020, Brady led the Buccaneers to the seventh Super Bowl win of his career.

Brady finished this year passing for 5,316 yards (second most of his career in one season), making him just the second quarterback to pass for 5,000+ yards in a season multiple times.
Last year, he was asked about his infamous prediction.
“That was in 2016 I gave him 18 more months before he fell ‘off the cliff,’” Kellerman recalled.
“Since I made that prediction, [Brady’s had] a full Hall of Fame career,” Kellerman joked.
