You can easily get your neck strained trying to keep up with all of the Deshaun Watson news that’s coming in from every direction these past few days. Thankfully, the team from the NFL Network is hear to clear things up.
Ian Rapoport, Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo took a moment this afternoon to clear up the entire Deshaun Watson saga, and according to them, it’s a four-horse race with one clear frontrunner.
While speaking on the matter, the group made it clear that the Saints are in the best position to acquire Watson. They are followed by the Panthers, who have tabled and offer, along with the Browns and Falcons, who both have meetings set up with Watson.
Rapoport also pointed out that he has not heard of any other teams in the running — although, as we all known from past experiences, that can always change at any second.
