There hasn’t been much action on the Melvin Gordon front for a few weeks now, but that all changed on Saturday when it was revealed by Ian Rapoport that the Los Angeles Chargers running back has been given permission to seek a trade.
Rapoport also states that Gordon will explore his options, which include possibly returning to the Chargers in time for the start of the 2019 NFL season.
There are a few teams who could use Gordon’s services. The Houston Texans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers appear to be the most obvious candidates. Whether or not anything gets done in the coming days remains to be seen, but this is just the type of news that will rattle the nerves of fantasy football owners everywhere as they prepare for their upcoming drafts.
