Contract talks between Amari Cooper and the Cowboys reportedly remain at a stalemate, Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
The Cowboys front office knew they would soon have to pay the trio of Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, and Amari Cooper pretty soon, with Dak already in negotiations with the team to possibly make him the highest paid player on the squad.
Cooper is expected to receive his lucrative contract soon, but right now, the sides just aren’t close to a number they can both agree with.
Cooper was acquired in the middle of the 2018 season, with the Cowboys giving up a 1st-round pick to acquire him.
