The New York Jets are once again a sh-tshow.
On Wednesday, the New York Jets shocked the football world when they unexpectedly fired general manager Mike Maccagnan and made Adam Gase the interim GM.
Based on what Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reported in the aftermath of that decision, it seems Le’Veon Bell was a huge reason as to why.
Mehta reported that “Gase absolutely did not want to sign Le’Veon Bell, per sources. In fact, he made it clear that he didn’t want to spend a lot of money on any running back.”
After the Steelers agreed to let Bell hit free agency, the Jets swooped in and signed him to a four-year deal worth $52.5 million, including $27 million guaranteed.

This comes on the heels of last week when Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News cited sources within organization of people inside the franchise not particularly happy that bell wasn’t at voluntary workouts.
“The jets aren’t particularly pleased with their new running back’s decision to stay away from the team given their significant investment and desire to make him an integral part of Adam Gase’s offense.”
Bell would soon respond to everybody who had an issue with him:
This is not the best start for a new head coach and running back to kick off their respective careers together.
