While people continue to speculate how the Dallas Cowboys signing Andy Dalton disrespected Dak Prescott, Las Vegas is convinced he will be an MVP candidate for Dallas in 2020.
Caesars Sportsbook gives Prescott 9-1 odds to claim MVP, putting him behind only Patrick Mahomes (4-1) and Lamar Jackson (13-2).
Prescott was franchise tagged this offseason, but the two sides are still trying to iron out a long-term deal.
Dallas is 27-21 under Prescott, with him throwing for 4,902 yards, 30 touchdowns and 11 interceptions while setting career-bests in yards per pass attempt and aerial yards per game in 2019.
Vegas being so high on Dak likely has a lot to do with his supporting cast that boasts Amari Cooper, drafted receiver CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup, and Ezekiel Elliott in the backfield.
