It appears not too many people are sad about the departure of Josh Mcdaniels.
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Hunter Renfrow seems excited for a new chapter without Josh McDaniels and his comments proved it.
Raiders wide receiver Hunter Renfrow spoke to reporters on Thursday and stated that the players feel like Antonio Pierce taking over as interim head coach following the firing of Josh McDaniels has brought a new sense of confidence to the team.
“There is a different energy,” Renfrow said. “I think AP alluded to it, it’s fun when you have nothing to lose. Let’s go out there and have a great time and play hard and play fast. … We’re not walking on eggshells everywhere.”
Renfrow only has 10 catches through eight games and he’s hopeful that the change will create more opportunities for him over the rest of the season. He said he’s “excited to go out there and just be myself again.”
To say Davante Adams loves Antonio Pierce as the Las Vegas Raiders’ new head coach is a major understatement.
“Davante Adams on Antonio Pierce: ‘I’m ready to run through a wall for that man. It’s a good feeling.’#Raiders,” The Fresno Bee’s Anthony Galaviz tweeted.

All-Pro receiver Davante Adams is excited for the change.
“Don’t get it confused,” Adams said. “It’s not a celebration that we have a new coach and there’s been changes made. We, obviously, think it was time, one way or the other, it was time for some sort of change.”
McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler were fired after the team lost on Monday Night Football. On top of that, starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo was benched in favor of rookie Aidan O’Connell.
The Raiders will have the chance to put their new vibe on display when they take on the New York Giants on Sunday.
