The report also states that, now that Renfrow is available on the open market, two teams have already emerged as strong candidates to sign him; the New England Patriots and the New Orleans Saints.
Renfrow was drafted in the fifth-round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Raiders. He spend five seasons with the club, with his most impressive campaign coming in 2021, when he recorded 103 receptions for 1,038 yards and nine touchdowns, earning himself a Pro Bowl invitation.
The former Clemson Tigers star has had a rough couple seasons since then, totaling just 585 yards and two touchdowns in 2022 and 2023 combined.

His abilities as a slot wide receiver should earn him quite a bit of interest on the open market.
Will The Raiders Make More Noise In Free Agency?
As for the Raiders, they are also expected to officially release quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo today, which would free up another $11-million in cap space. At the moment, it is unknown exactly what the Raiders plan to do with the money.
So far, their biggest splash in free agency has come in the form of signing former Dolphins superstar defensive lineman Christian Wilkins. They also brought journeyman quarterback Gardner Minshew aboard, but it is widely believed that the Raiders will also look to add another quarterback.
It’ll be interesting to see if they attempt to swing a trade for Bears signal-caller Justin Fields, or if they attempt to move up from the no. 13 pick in the upcoming draft to get one of the prized quarterbacks that are expected to go within the top 5 picks.
