An online content creator was taken into custody after he climbed to the top of the Las Vegas Sphere.
Maison Des Champs said he free-climbed the Sphere to help cancel the alleged upcoming abortion of a woman he identified as Isabel. While he may have wanted to do something nice for another person, his actions were dangerous.
The pro-life charity Let Them Live said in a statement that Des Champs chose the location in honor of the Super Bowl, which is taking place in Las Vegas on Sunday where hundreds of thousands of people are expected in Las Vegas for the game.
Unfortunately for him, he is going to pay for his actions as he is facing some serious charges.
The 24-year-old was arrested and charged with destroying a property of another worth greater than $5,000 and conspiracy to destroy private property, according to online jail records.
Des Champs was booked into the Clark County Detention Center.

Sheriff Kevin McMahill said in a news conference Wednesday that the attempt to scale the building was a “publicity stunt.”
“We know these things are going to happen,” McMahill said, “and we’re going to deal with them as they come up and make sure we have the safest Super Bowl we’ve ever had.”
Des Champs climbs tall buildings across the United States. He could be seen running toward the Sphere in a video posted on his Instagram account Wednesday.
Des Champs was arrested in 2021 for scaling the Aria Hotel in protest of COVID-related mandates. He was charged with two misdemeanor counts.
