Everyone’s in the dark when it comes to Aaron Rodgers’s future, including Aaron Rodgers, as the star quarterback has embarked on a darkness retreat in order to help him decide on what’s next.
Rodgers could follow Tom Brady out of the NFL this year but the possibility of a trade looms, especially now that the Green Bay Packers are actually thought to be willing to fashion a move that would see them split with the four-time MVP after an 18-year union.
The New York Jets are rumored to be a likely landing spot for the 39-year-old QB. However, former NFL wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald would prefer a situation that would see him join the Dallas Cowboys instead as it would make more sense for Rodgers.
Speaking on Mad Dog Sports Radio this week, Fitzgerald pointed out that the move would reunite Rodgers with Mike McCarthy, who spent 12 years as the Packers’ head coach, and thrust him into a team that’s already built to win a championship.
While Larry’s assertion makes plenty of sense, the Packers have already made it known that they refuse to trade Rodgers to an NFC team. Because of this, the Jets stand a much better chance.

It’s also worth noting that the Cowboys might not be interested in making a move for the Packers signal-caller as they have backed their own man, Dak Prescott.
