Imagine giving a lap dance to a married NFL coach and you’re not only the hot topic on social media for days, but now everbody at your job knows about it. USA TODAY spoke with the mom of that young woman in the Urban Meyer video and she was upset about how all the hoopla is ruining her daughter’s life.
“(She) can’t even go anywhere,” the mother told USA TODAY Sports. “It’s ruining her life is what it’s doing. I’m worried for her emotional status right now.”
She can’t even escape it at work as her job is now investigating the incident because the company has done work for the restaurant, Urban Chophouse.
“We’ve had no prior issues with her whatsoever. She’s been a very solid asset to the company. We’re going to undertake our internal investigation to determine what, if any, impact this has on the company and we’ll proceed accordingly,” Brian Duncan, an attorney representing New Horizons Media Group, said.
“I just pray that Alex (owner of New Horizons Media Group) doesn’t fire my daughter because she needs this job,” the mother said. “She just bought a house.”
An unnamed Jaguars player told the NFL Network’s Michael Silver that Meyer had lost all credibility and that players were highly skeptical that the woman in the videos was a stranger, as Meyer claimed during his first apology on Monday. Meyer, who is married, conceded that his family was “upset” about the recordings.
Meyer once coached at Ohio State and has roots in the state, so instead of heading back with his winless team, he decided to go to his restaurant as well as hang out with his granchildren.

“There was a big group next to the restaurant,” Meyer explained. “They wanted me to come over and take pictures, and I did. (They) tried to pull me out on the dance floor, screwing around, but I should’ve left.”
As you know, the video shows the young lady grinding on him as well as another angle with his hands in a sensitive area on her.
His team is 0-4 in his first season. They have been blown out in three games and the top draft pick in Trevor Lawrence has been struggling.
Meyer has a lot on his plate if he wants to remain in the NFL.
