Lamar Jackson has been waived this Monday.
We know it’s not quite April 1st yet but this had to be done, because it’s true.
So yeah, Lamar Jackson has been waived by the Denver Broncos. The team has announced making two roster moves, with Jackson, a defensive back getting cut. Outside linebacker Wyatt Ray has also been waived this week.
Jackson was signed to Denver’s practice squad in November and played three games for the team. Ray also made three appearances for the Broncos last season, making two tackles.
As for the other Lamar Jackson; well, he’s still with Baltimore. The Ravens are hoping to keep him around for the foreseeable future, at least that’s what they claim. And, by the looks of things, they’re probably going to do just that as there’s been literally no interest from other teams.
In fact, the only teams which have made any references where the QB is concerned just wanted to let everyone know that they don’t want him.

Jackson is believed to want a full-guaranteed deal worth $230 million but has denied as much with claims that he was only offered $133 million guaranteed over a three-year span. Things would have probably moved along much smoother had an agent been in play but the quarterback insists on negotiating his own deal.
