NFL fans are ruthlessly making fun of Baltimore Ravens’ star quarterback Lamar Jackson after brutally underthrowing Odell Beckham Jr. on a deep pass.
The Ravens are holding joint practices with the Washington Commanders ahead of their Week 2 preseason game next Monday night. On one practice play, Beckham Jr. ran a nice route and found himself wide open, but Jackson underthrew his new teammate — and the pass fell incomplete.
And with this being NFL social media, many fans on X (formerly Twitter), couldn’t help but make fun of Jackson’s bad pass:

Of course, it’s only one throw in practice. If Jackson doesn’t make that a habit (he won’t), during the meaningful games, Ravens fans won’t have anything to worry about.
Baltimore’s offense figures to look a lot different this year. The club parted ways with well-respected offensive coordinator Greg Roman and replaced him with Todd Monken, who spent the previous three years as the Georgia Bulldogs’ offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
The Ravens signed Beckham Jr. and the speedy Nelson Agholor in free agency before using their first-round pick on Boston College wideout Zay Flowers. With star tight end Mark Andrews also in the fold, the Ravens certainly have a deep set of pass-catching playmakers to help Jackson out.
Jackson and the Ravens will open their 2023 season with a home tilt against the Houston Texans on Sept. 10.
