The Kansas City Chiefs have signed Lamar Jackson to a deal and fans simply can’t deal with it.
The more popular Lamar Jackson was recently extended by the Baltimore Ravens, who handed the quarterback the biggest deal in NFL history – so no, he’s not headed to KC to compete with Patrick Mahomes for the starting job. That would be quite something, though.
This Lamar Jackson is a cornerback who was signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Jets back in 2020. He’s since signed with the Chicago Bears and Denver Broncos and caused quite the stir when the latter released him at the height of the Ravens/Jackson drama earlier this year.
The reactions to this have been all over the place, with some fans wondering why the Chiefs would make such a move when they already have Mahomes.
