The Baltimore Ravens did what nobody thought they could when they walked into CenturyLink Field and defeated the Seattle Seahawks by two touchdowns on Sunday. The game was close pretty much throughout, but things swung for good in the third quarter, when the two teams made very different decisions when presented with fourth-down opportunities.
With the game tied 13-13 midway through the fourth quarter, the Seahawks faced a 4th down and elected to kick a field goal. Jason Myers missed a 53-yard try.
On the following possession, the Ravens got the ball into the red zone and faced a 4th down as well. Instead of taking the points to make it 16-13, head coach John Harbaugh asked Lamar Jackson if he wanted to go for it.
Jackson responded with a ton of passion and ultimately scored a touchdown on the play and the Ravens never looked back.
It would be nice to see more coaches have trust in their players like Harbaugh had in Jackson, who paid off the decision with a touchdown run.
