Lamar Jackson wasn’t on the sideline for Baltimore’s playoff game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
Just before the game kicked off, NBC’s Melissa Stark reported that Jackson didn’t travel with the team to Cincinnati. Him being inactive was expected, but everybody assumed he would at least be on the sidelines to cheer on his team, which he had been doing during the regular season.
His absence is glaring giving that he is headed into the offseason hoping to get the contract he deserves.

Jackson injured his left knee on Dec. 4 against the Denver Broncos and hasn’t played a game since. Jackson remained sidelined for the rest of the regular season as the Ravens went 2-3 in his absence while fighting for playoff positioning.
Jackson’s been seen on the Ravens’ sideline while injured, including during a road game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Dec. 11. But he wasn’t on Sunday as his future with the franchise remains murky.
This is not a good look if the team moves on from this game and advances.
