Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen had nothing but good things to say about Baltimore Ravens’ Lamar Jackson, and that could be said likewise.
Josh Allen took a final kneel to give the Buffalo Bills a 27-25 playoff victory and immediately jogged toward the sideline to greet Jackson.
The Bills quarterback still had the football in his hands when he gave Jackson a postgame handshake and hug.
“I have nothing but love for Lamar,” Allen said in his postgame press conference. He’s one of the greatest to put a uniform on and play in the NFL. Honored to share the field with him.”
Also, after the game, Lamar Jackson revealed what he told Allen during their embrace.
“Go win,” Jackson said. “Great players recognize greatness. We both recognized each other, you know? But I told him, ‘Man, go get something, go win something, man. MVP, Super Bowl, do something. I want him to be successful.”

Jackson did everything he could on Sunday to will his team to victory.
The two-time MVP completed 72 percent of his passes, going 18-of-25 for 254 yards and two touchdowns and adding 39 yards on the ground on six runs.
Allen’s final stat line wasn’t mind-boggling as he threw for just 127 yards (16-of-22) while rushing for 20 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries.
Lamar Jackson Has Terrible Playoff Record
Lamar Jackson was disappointed on Sunday.
Jackson has already established himself as one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, but his playoff record is less than ideal.
The playoffs have given Jackson trouble, as he now owns a 3-5 record in eight postseason starts.
In the postseason, Jackson has scored just 13 touchdowns while committing 11 turnovers throughout his playoff career.
He may win another MVP, but his playof record will always be a monkey on hi sback.
