Lamar Jackson has revealed the figure offered to him by the Baltimore Ravens that’s led to him getting franchise tagged by the organization.
The parties have been at a standoff for nearly a year and it’s been said that the fact that Jackson doesn’t have an agent is what’s holding an agreement back.
Jackson took to Twitter this Tuesday to disclose the deal which was offered to him by the Ravens in response to ESPN’s Adam Schefter claiming certain factors could have taken the salary offered to around $200 million in guarantees.
The quarterback has refuted the insider’s claim, revealing what he says is the offer the Ravens put in front of him. According to Jackson, he was propositioned with a three-year contract worth $133 million which would be fully guaranteed.
The sum spread over just three years is actually not that bad, so the tweet has had a polarizing effect on fans. You could see some of the reactions below.

It appears Stephen A. Smith was on the money when he claimed someone in Jackson’s camp had reached out to him to reveal the offer made to the QB a few weeks ago.
Whatever the case is, it appears no NFL teams want to touch the signal-caller in spite of his obvious quality and the fact that he’s been a league MVP before even reaching his prime.
