What on Earth is going on with Lamar Jackson?
On Thursday, the NFL sent a memo to teams warning them about uncertified agent Ken Francis, who “may be contacting clubs and attempting to persuade club personnel to enter into negotiations with or concerning Lamar Jackson.”
Teams are prohibited from negotiating offer sheets or trades with agents not certified by the NFLPA.

“Stop Lying that man never tried to negotiate for me”
The Baltimore Ravens placed the non-exclusive franchise tag on Jackson earlier this month, which makes him eligible to negotiate with other teams in free agency. No team has made an offer, but if one of them does so, the Ravens can match it.
Jackson and the Ravens have been unable to come to terms on a new deal despite several meetings between the two sides over the past two years. It’s been long believed that Deshaun Watson’s record-setting deal that he signed with Cleveland last year has further complicated Jackson’s situation with Baltimore.
At this point, this thing is so far off the rails, Jackson will ultimately end up playing football for the Ravens in 2023.
