Looks like Lamar Jackson may not be going anywhere after all.
According to recent reports from Jay Glazer, the former MVP quarterback and the Baltimore Ravens have made “major progress” towards getting a deal done. Glazer adds that, barring any hiccups, a deal could be complete “very soon, any day now.”
When the Baltimore Ravens signed free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., it was believed that the move could be enough to entice Lamar Jackson to stay in Baltimore. Apparently, it worked, as the two sides seem to have made significant progress since then.
Some believed that Jackson could be traded for one of the top 4 picks at tonight’s draft to a QB-needy team like the Houston Texans or Indianapolis Colts.
However, it looks like that won’t be the case after all.
