The Seattle Seahawks have already made several significant changes to their roster this offseason, and they might not be done. According to a report from ESPN, the Seahawks may be willing to trade wide receiver, DK Metcalf, for the right price.
“This is a name that’s buzzing in league circles. No guarantee that anything happens here,” ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler said Sunday, reacting to a Bleacher Report transcription. “I’m told that Metcalf has gotten indications, informally from the team, that he’s not going to be traded. Seattle has said publicly they have no intention to trade him.
“But the execs I talk to keep bringing him up that maybe they would either be willing to move on at the right price or that Metcalf would welcome a change. So, something is going on here; it’s just hard to figure out what. But he’s got one year left on his rookie deal. He would need a new contract as part of a trade. That’s the tricky part.”
Amid rumors that the Seattle Seahawks might be willing to move Metcalf, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson took to Twitter and called on Metcalf to join his squad.
“[DK Metcalf] slide (up). We got them Guyz but you can slide to we welcome everyone here with open arms you definitely one of them Guyz as well,” Jackson wrote.
In a follow-up tweet, Jackson had to clear what he said before speculation staretd, but the damage was already done.

“Ight my bad I shouldn’t have tweeted that cause now people gone speculate all type of stuff,” Jackson wrote, adding a ROFL emoji. “Hey but it’s Twitter let me tweet”
Right now, the Ravens have tight end Mark Andrews and wide receiver Hollywood Brown as their star pass catchers. Antonio Brown has been campaigning to join the team, but it remains to be seen if the front office would want to bring in a potential headache who has ended his last three stops with controversy.
Adding a receiver like D.K. Metcalf could potentially supercharge the Ravens offense.
