This is the last thing Baltimore Ravens wanted to see.
According to PFF NFL insider Ari Meirov, Lamar Jackson was forced to leave practice early on Wednesday after he suffered a quad injury and was later listed as limited in practice.
At 7-4 on the season, the Baltimore Ravens still have a ton of work to do if they want to qualify for the postseason. If not for them blowing four 4th-quarter leads, the team would be in much better place in the AFC North and overall.
The QB is now scheduled to address the media Thursday or Friday, with fans now going to pay attention to his health in advance of Sunday’s game against the Broncos now that he’s managing a quad issue.
Jackson has not missed a game this season. He has missed at least one game in each of the last three seasons, with five lost games in 2021 ultimately costing the Ravens a trip to the playoffs.
In 11 games this season, Jackson has thrown for 2,231 yards, 17 touchdowns, and seven interceptions and rushed for 755 yards.
