Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has shared several cryptic posts via his IG story at a very interesting juncture.
Jackson has taken to the social media platform the day before NFL teams will be able to use the franchise tag to post a few photos hinting at trouble in Baltimore. The first bears a message stating, “No matter how much genuine love you show it’ll never be enough,” along with an emoji suggesting “so f*ck it.”
He then posted an image of a male body whose head is engulfed in flames. We can’t be sure what this one means but it seems to suggest he could be overwhelmed.
Jackson and the Ravens have been at odds over a long-term contract for some time now but the team holds an advantage in the form of the franchise tag option.
The signal-caller is coming off the last season of his rookie deal, with Baltimore having picked up his fifth-year option. But he missed the last five games of the regular season with a PCL sprain, as well as the wild card game in which the Ravens were eliminated from the playoffs.

The possibility of a trade looms, though head coach John Harbaugh said he was “200 percent” sure the player would return this year while GM Eric DeCosta seemed eager to return to contract negotiations.
DeCosta also said Jackson would be involved in the team’s selection of a new offensive coordinator, yet it’s reported that he was not consulted before Todd Monken was hired last week.
