Kyler Murray is back for the Arizona Cardinals, but for how long?
The Cardinals activated quarterback Kyler Murray to the team’s 53-man roster Tuesday, cementing his return from injury this week. Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon announced that Murray will get the start for Sunday’s game against the Falcons as long as he’s ready to play.
Even before he came back, there were questions on whether the Cardinals would move on from the QB.
If he doesn’t return, odds have been released and they show that the New England Patriots are the heavy favorite to get him.
The remaining list are the Tennessee Titans, New York Giants, Atlanta Falcons, Washington commanders, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Cardinals are currently at the bottom of the NFL with a 1–8 mark after having to rely on veteran Josh Dobbs for eight games before he was traded to the Vikings. Last week, Clayton Tune took over the offense, leading to disastrous results and a 27–0 shutout loss to the Browns.
