The state of Texas is in mourning this weekend after a mass shooting at an outlet mall took the lives of eight innocent people, while injuring at least seven others.
The shooting took place at the Allen Premium Outlets in Allen, Texas, which is about 25 miles north of Dallas. It’s also where Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray grew up and played his high school football.
The two-time Pro Bowler was sickened by the incident, voicing his concern in a Tweet on Saturday that called the shooting, “sickening.” The Cards QB also offered to help those affected by the tragedy in any way possible.
According to reports, the gunman was eventually shot and killed by a police officer who was at the mall on an unrelated call.
NFL fans on Twitter were heartbroken for Kyler and all of those who were negatively impacted by this latest mass shooting. Many took a moment to offer their thoughts and prayers for Murray and the people of Allen, Texas.
