Kyler Murray’s tumultuous 2022 campaign ended in gruesome fashion, with the Arizona Cardinals quarterback suffering an ACL tear in early December.
All offseason, Gannon has provided updates on Murray’s recovery. However, there has been no timeline for when we may see him on the field.
As a competitor, Murray will push to come back as soon as possible. Yet Arizona has been fairly consistent in saying they will not rush him back under any circumstances.
We may have gotten that answer from a sports doctor on X who is predicting from the picture Murray released of his legs, that he might be back on the field in the next four weeks.
It’s not an official update on his return, but it is something.
Because he has been placed on the physically unable to perform list, he will miss games against the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers. After that, they have the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams coming up.

Murray suffered his injury on a non-contact play on Dec. 12 against the New England Patriots during a scramble. He was carted off the field and later ruled out for the season.
In his place, the Cardinals have rolled with Josh Dobbs as their quarterback. He has completed 68.9 percent of his passes for 360 yards and a touchdown. He’s also rushed for 38 yards and another score.
Arizona has started 0-2 but has shown much fight in both games.
