Kyler Murray simply wore a cap and is now being blasted for it.
Before he would take his talents to the Arizona Cardinals — Murray would be drafted by the Oakland A’s No. 9 overall in the 2018 MLB Draft. The Arizona Cardinals quarterback rocked an A’s hat while attending Thursday’s Warriors-Suns game at Phoenix Suns Arena.
Murray would go on to sign with the A’s but never suited up with them after returning to Oklahoma for his senior football season. He would soon win the Heisman Trophy, lead Oklahoma to the College Football Playoff, and then get selected No. 1 overall in 2019.
His baseball career was over.
Murray rocking that cap upset a ton of people who let their feelings known on Twitter:

Murray told CBS Sports Radio‘s “Tiki & Tierney” in November that he missed playing baseball, and he’ll “never say never” to returning to the diamond.
“For me, I wish I could do both. I definitely feel like I could,” Murray said at the time. “I never say never, but as of right now, I’m having fun doing what I love.”
It should be noted that any chance of Kyler trying to go back to baseball would have to go through the A’s as they still hold his rights.
