Kyle Van Noy was clearly not a fit with the Miami Dolphins, which is why he got released after just one season of a four-year, $50 million contract he signed a year ago.
Not helping matters was Van Noy not seeing eye-to-eye with his head coach.
Both were already familiar with each other as Flores was the linebackers coach and de-facto defensive coordinator with the New England Patriots prior to landing in Miami.
On Wednesday, a reporter asked Van Noy if he noticed any differences between Flores the assistant coach and Flores the head coach.
Van Noy made it clear that he was not pleased with how Miami treated him in his one year with the team. And he’s looking forward to playing them twice a year in 2021.

“I know everything they do down there,” Van Noy said via NESN. “It’s going to be good.”
Van Noy made his return back to New England this offseason, signing a two-year, $13.2 million deal.
Van Noy won two Super Bowls with the team and was named to the team’s 2010s All-Decade Team.
