The San Francisco 49ers likely had their entire 2020 season turned upside down following his team’s win over the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium today.
During the game, four key San Francisco player–quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, running back Raheem Mostert and defensive linemen Nick Bosa and Solomon Thomas–had to leave with leg injuries.
Bosa’s and Thomas’ injuries appeared serious and the 49ers reportedly fear Bosa tore his ACL.
Shanahan told reporters following the win that his players were complaining about the MetLife Stadium turf all game.
“It was something our guys were concerned about right away. And the results definitely made that stronger,” Shanahan told reporters.

What really sucks is the 49ers will be playing there again next week when they take on the Giants.
