As well, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen drew a “Roughing the Passer” penalty in Sunday’s road game against the New England Patriots. Luckily for the Pats, the controversial call didn’t cost them, as the club pulled off a last-minute 29-25 victory.
At any rate, the league office and its owners have had plenty of opportunities throughout the years to implement changes to improve the quality of officiating. They’ve continuously passed on these chances, so fans shouldn’t hold their breath about any changes, including making “Roughing the Passer” reviewable.
