Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler’s divorce came out of nowhere, especially for fans who regularly watched their reality TV show.
As it turned out, there was a moment back in 2018 where the couple was talking on their couch discussing issues at her business, Uncommon James. Jay advised his wife to fire one of her employees who was acting out at work.
Kristin told her then-husband, “This is probably why you don’t own your own business.”
Jay told Kristin he owned half of Uncommon James but she disagreed numerous times before laughing about having to revisit their prenup.
Jay Cutler filed for divorce on April 21st, 2020 and asked the court to enforce the prenuptial agreement they signed before their marriage.
The ex-NFL star is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their three kids.

He listed the reason for the divorce as, “irreconcilable differences which rendered further cohabitation improper and impossible.”
Over the weekend, Kristin and Jay announced they were splitting up in a joint statement. It read, “The statement posted on social media read, “With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce. We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart. We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family.”
