Kliff Kingsbury isn’t afraid to pull some strings to be around some hot women.
During a Wednesday conversation with Pat McAfee, NFL reporter Peter Shrager revealed that Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury once called up Rams head coach Sean McVay hours before playing each other so that he could get some field passes. It wasn’t for family, but for a European Instagram model.
The incident went down in Week 17 of 2019 and was the final regular-season game of the year when neither team had any playoff hopes on the line. Might as well make the most of a bad situation.
McVay had just met the Instagram model in Los Angeles, and clearly wanted to get to know her better.
The Cardinals finished 5-10-1 that year while the Rams were 9-7. Just in case you were wondering, the Rams won that final regular season game, 31-24.
