Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins showed off the nasty-looking scar from the surgery on a torn Achilles he suffered back in October.
Cousins’ productive 2023 season ended with a season-ending Achilles tear against the Green Bay Packers back in Week 8. It was an unfortunate break for Cousins, who was threatening to break his personal bests in passing yards (4,917 in 2016) and passing touchdowns (35).
During his appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show”, the 35-year-old Cousins showed off the gnarly scar on his Achilles post-surgery:
Cousins’ 2023 season ended with a superb stat line of 2,331 passing yards and 18 touchdowns against only five interceptions. The Vikings were 4-4 in games started by Cousins, but they slumped to a 3-6 finish without the four-time Pro Bowler.
If the Vikings don’t re-sign the pending free agent, Cousins will be the top quarterback available on the 2024 market. And there certainly won’t be a shortage of teams interested in the soon-to-be 36-year-old, given the amount of clubs who are one QB away from taking that next step forward.
