Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins is out for the year after suffering an Achilles injury in October.
He is a free agent following the season.
There are several teams that could use his services despite his advanced age.
According to Darren Wolfson of SKOR North, the Atlanta Falcons are considered a team to “keep an eye on” for Cousins in the offseason. The report adds the Falcons are seen as the “logical landing spot” if he does wind up moving on from the Vikings.
The Atlanta Falcons struggled to move the ball through the air in 2023.
Quarterbacks Desmond Ridder and Taylor Heinicke have done little to reassure Falcons fans they are long-term answers and the team may need to make a move this offseason.

Cousins is 35-years old and coming off an injury but he is a better option for the Falcons than what they have right now.
If head coach Arthur Smith survives keeping his job, he will be in a win-now mode and he will not have the luxury of developing a rookie quarterback.
The Falcons will be exploring every option for 2024, including Cousins.
The Falcons are 7-9 heading into Week 18 and still have a chance to make the playoffs.
