Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins left Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers with a serious-looking non-contact injury.
As you can see in the videos below, Cousins got injured on a non-contact play while holding the football. He then limped over to the Minnesota sideline and was replaced by second-stringer Jaren Hall.
Cousins had 274 passing yards and two touchdowns before suffering the injury.
It’s obviously too soon to speculate, but non-contact injuries are always immediately worrisome in football. In many cases, a non-contact injury is something season-ending, such as a torn Achilles or a torn ACL.
We’ll provide more information on Cousins’ injury when it becomes available.
