Kirk Cousins is a passionate man, as displayed by his ‘You like that’ rant a few years ago as a member of Washington.
Sunday’s 19-17 Vikings walk-off win offered another piece of footage to add to the Cousins archive where he and Mike Zimmer shared a confusing moment following the game.
Once Greg Joseph’s kick hit the net and gave Minnesota the win, Cousins turned to Zimmer, grabbed him and shouted something in his face. Zimmer grabbed back, and pushed Cousins away, leading to another Minnesota staffer to hold him back.
The quarterback explained the exchange following the game, via ESPN’s Courtney Cronin, saying it was nothing more than a celebration between the two.
“Oh, I was just celebrating with him,” Cousins said. “I was just fired up.”
